Rhythmic Gymnastics Lessons at the ‘’Peace and Freedom’’ Gymnasium in Deryneia

The multi-award winning club ‘’A.Tricomitis’’ starts Rhythmic Gymnastics Lessons at the ‘’Peace and Freedom’’ Gymnasium in Deryneia.

 Rhythmic Gymnastics is a women Olympic sport that combines specialised rhythmic ballet lessons, individual and group gymnastics with the use of ribbon, ball, rope, clubs and hoop.

It is considered to be the most appropriate sport for girls of all ages as it enables them to become accustomed to the exercise, develop new physical abilities and harmony, grace, expression in movement, confidence and discipline.

Athletes of ‘’A.Tricomitis’’ Club have participated in Pancyprian competitions, Meditteranean Games, Commonwealth Games, European Games, Small Nation Games, International Tournaments, World Cups and World Championships, and have been awarded with medals in many of them. For the third consecutive year ‘’A.Tricomitis’’ Club has been awarded from the Cyprus Federation of Gymnastics the number one Rhythmic Gymnastics Club in Cyprus in ranking.

Coach of the Club, in Famagusta area, is the experienced former Rhythmic Gymnast, Mrs. Loukia Trikomiti. The goal of the coach is to promote high level gymnasts of all ages and to equip them with discipline, will, patience, persistence and flexibility that will be distinguished by competing in both Cyprus and abroad, conquering the highest levels.
