Civil Weddings

Civil Weddings

Despite the fact that there has not been a touristic development due to the occupation of the coastal zone by Turkish occupation troops, the Municipality of Deryneia, is preferably chosen as venue by a large number of locals and foreigners who plan their wedding in our beautiful town.

The Civil marriages are performed by the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor and the Town Council in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The aim is to provide an excellent service to the newlyweds and their guests on such an important day of their life and to promote the renowned Cypriot hospitality.

The Civil Marriage Ceremonies take place at the Folklore Museum and the Open-Air Museums with their impressive ampleness and traditional artefacts, as well as at the Town Hall and at the Municipal Amphitheatre.
